Mark Your Calendars for 2012 Snow Days Chicago at Navy Pier!
Watch as sculptors Kim McCombs and Mike Dillon transform a block of Styrofoam into a carving of the "Captain on the Helm" statue. Sculpting days will happen throughout the month of December inside Winter WonderFest, near the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Skating Rink. Then, don't miss Snow Days when professional snow sculptors from around the world will gather at Navy Pier in Gateway Park, January 27 - 29, 2012 to create masterpieces out of 10-foot blocks of man-made snow. Enjoy a snow sculpting competition, dog sled racing demonstrations, a snowboard rail jam competition and more.
